Reynolds Solitude Clincher Wheelset
The Reynolds Solitude Wheelset is a go-anywhere, do-anything road wheelset. With 31mm deep aluminum rims, it is nicely light for its depth and nicely aero for its weight. The DT Swiss J-bend spokes are strong and resilient and have a long fatigue life. With the Solitude Wheels, you can train every day, on any road, then race them on the weekends.
Reynolds Solitude Wheels are built on 31mm deep aluminum clincher rims. There are 20 radial front spokes and 24 rear spokes laced in a cross-2 drive and radial non-drive pattern. The spokes are DT Revolution (14/17/14 gauge double-butted) for the radial spokes and DT Competition (14/15/14 gauge double-butted) for the crossed spokes. The nipples are internal and can be adjusted with a Reynolds-specific internal spoke wrench included with the wheels. Reynolds builds the hubs with lightweight, yet sturdy aluminum, and their sealed cartridge bearings are easily serviceable. The included skewers have alloy levers and nuts, and the rim strips come installed. There is a one-year warranty from manufacturing defect on the wheels. You'll want to specify Campagnolo or Shimano/SRAM compatible freehub body.
