I am in shock i will most definitely give my Les Paul Standard a gentle play in this giants memory .

That guitar is by far the sweetest fattest sound in rock. Jimmy Page used to blow me away when he played that puppy with Zep . I effin luved the time he "bowed" the axe with a violin bow.

He was a close friend of my ex-wife's mother's husband. Guitar pioneer, yes.....pretty much a prick, though.
