Ritchey WCS Carbon C-260 Stem

CB.jpg

Typically, a stem body and faceplate each wrap 180 degrees around the handlebar. Ritchey's WCS Carbon C-260, on the other hand, wraps a full 260 degrees. This distributes forces more evenly across the handlebar, faceplate, and stem body for a stronger, safer, and lighter interface.
The WCS Carbon C-260's body is 3D forged from 7050 aluminum that's internally machined and enhanced with Ritchey's Matrix carbon exoskeleton. The enhanced alloy/carbon structure allows the 100mm-length C-260 to achieve a sub-115g weight. Another way Ritchey kept this stem so light is by using T-20 Torx bolts.
Instead of two five- or four-millimeter hexes to clamp the steerer tube, three smaller T-20 bolts end up not only distributing forces more evenly, but they also save weight. The CEN-approved WCS Carbon C-260 Stem is claimed by Ritchey to be 14 percent stiffer than the full Alloy C260.
The Ritchey WCS Carbon C-260 Stem is available in the Carbon color and in sizes 70, 80, 90, 100, 110, 120, and 130mm.
