I need some advice. Booked into a room for the Loaf sat-tues. Was planning on hitting kmart on friday and going north on saturday. With alleged storm looming, should I do a 1/2 day or skip kmart and drive north on Friday to beat the storm? I imagine that the roads in northern NH and western maine are not very fun w/ snow on them. Advice?!

Kmart to the Loaf is a big drive, Rt 4>I89>Rt 2>Rt 27. Your on Rt 2 for a pretty long way and the part that goes along the northern edge of the Whites can be dicey. If the forecast holds and Friday is a good driving day I would skip Kmart and head straight up to the Loaf. Nothing better than being stuck at a ski resort during a snowstorm. Much better than being on the road.
