My wife's cousins are coming in from Norway, so I won't be able to make it but The Ryan Montbleau Band is playing up at Mount Snow on March 7th. Any Mount Snow regulars should be sure to check him out.

...paging Dr. Jeff...

When BobR and I saw him this summer:

I also got to see him at Cape Cod and on a Manhattan Cruise this year. He NEVER disappoints.

Never once have I taken someone to a Ryan show without them enjoying themselves, no matter what kind of music they were into.

Solid rec Rich. Unfortunately, I won't be there as I'm looking after my neighbors / good friends cats as they head over for the weekend. Bastards don't even ski

Page received Beano :) Gotta make sure that my "social coordinator" gives me the OK to head down the hill and across the street so I can drink a few Mount Snow Ale's and listen to some tunes though ;)

jam band??

it's more of a white man's funk is how I'd describe it.

DHS is right. I would say he has appeal to Jam Band Fans. That being said, I think he has wider appeal, Jam Band Fans just noticed him first. He's got tons of soul, immense talent, great attitude and an eclectic style. It's just GOOD MUSIC.

I wish Bob were here to weigh in on him. I think the first time he heard him was at the Vibes this summer.

Been seeing him for about five years now and it's been great to watch his repetoire grow. He did 'jam' a bit more in the earlier days. I know all the members of the band quite well; great group of guys who definitely have a bit of pop stardom desire, but would never sell out to get there.

Saw him at Sugarloaf and the Stone Church last year I think. Really good.
