I just bought a pair of Volkl AC1's, my first new ski in 20 years. Never ski'd on parabolic's before, and was thinking that a new pair of boots would fit in nicely with the new ski's. I'm currently on Raichle Centrex cx3.7 (and after a quick google search, I could sell these boots for whopping 30.00!

I've been looking at Lange Comp 100, they have them on sale near me for 149.99. I'm an intermediate recreational skier. I've ski'd in Alta, Brighton, in the UP in Michigan, and lots in Wisconsin.
I got back on skis for the first time last year (really smart year to pick up skiing again :roll
And my old planks really didn't seem to like the eastern snow too much. I had some K2 UVX's. So, after a really long winded question, do you think it's beneficial to start with a whole new setup?
Oh and the place that has them is called skimarket in Dedham. I don't think I'll get the top level service of a smaller shop, boot fitting and whatnot. Whereas, Ski Stop in Westwood, has really hands on care but the prices were through the roof. I spent 300 on the ski's and I don't want to spend 400+ on the boots. He would make sure I had a great fit, but I didn't see boots under 300 in the shop.
I know I'm in for alot of testing and fitting, but I'd really like to see if anyone here could make a recommendation on a boot.
Thanks.
Oh yea, and my first experience skiing eastern slopes was Loon, very nice, very pretty, very, very icy. Packed too. But it was when kids had winter break, but last years snow conditions were pathetic, x-ing my fingers for better this year.
