Ski Art

we have a room above our garage that is my office (work from home), wife's crafting space and kids playroom. with the kids growing up and "playing" less we finally got around to painting and reorganizing the room. Got home from a trip to find my wife added some artwork to the room:

Surprisingly, my wife has allowed for our bedroom to be the "ski art" room in the home. I've got several pieces in there, 1 that's very similar to that Colorado picture, though it's for Vermont. Perhaps it's the same artist.

My prized piece of ski art is the painting my mother in law did for me for Christmas about five years ago. My wife snapped a photo of all my skis and her mom made a painting with the lined up against a wooden fence with an old ski lodge in the background. The inspiration for the fence and lodge was a small nelsap area where she learned to ski up the road.

Here's a picture of the painting, but it doesn't do it justice. Perhaps the best Christmas gift I've ever gotten.

I really like the Ski New England one. Berkshire East, while a favorite ski area of mine, seems out of place on it.
