reason for closing Pali early?

oh and for what its worth, according to the list your spoiled bratt western ass wouldn't have any lift serviced at all if you were living in Tahoe right now.....just sayin' ;)

Wet slides. I don't understand upper east wall though as everytime i've skied it the snow was pretty firm dropping in.

Oh and Mammoth is day trippable from Tahoe I think, I'm going in a couple weeks (just for vacation) and plan to drive down for a day or two. 70 sure is an easy trip this time of year though and A-Basin in the spring kills it.

Yes! Get back over here for a dose of reality.=)

Does reality=hard work and responsibility cause if it does count me out!

Actually reality for me in a month= non-stop work with little time off for a pretty good period, dreading it lots.

almost exactly 4 yrs ago a skier was killed in a slide on pali. guess at this time of the year snow gets pretty unstable on a slope that steep.

but consider yourself damn lucky. very jealous.
