skiing in Pa

This might be a little far west than most of you guy live but im wondering if u guys know any good ski resorts down around pittsburgh. Im just a young skier with not that much cash. and would like to find a cheap ski resort. that pretty aggresive. lots of priorities.
any of u been at snowshoe is it worth the money

Seven Springs and Blue Knob.

Never been to Snowshoe, never thought the long drive out there was really worth it.

Try The Springs at Laurel Mtn. near Ligonier. Better get there quick, Sunday is the last day of the season.

i haven't been there, but one site said they have 2 quarter pipes, 3 table top jumps, and one of the longest half pipes in pennsyvania

I've skiied the Seven Springs a bunch and its not too bad. You can get some decent turns in on the backside.

If I had to pick between there and Snowshoe as far as a mid-Atlantic ski vacation is concerned, I'd pick Seven Springs. Snowshoe has good vert on the backside, but I always had a lot more fun at springs. Lots of fun to be had in the lodge at night after the slopes close
