I can't imagine going to Alaska only to get skunked. Let alone traveling from Colorado that was getting bombed all year. But imagine if you traveled from the Northeast this year. Lesson? Buy travel insurance.

Yeah I agree with you that it was apparently a slow news day. I skimmed the first few paragraphs and gave up.
