Hey,

Just wondering if a Sugarbush regular could give me the scoop on what the status of the Slide Brook Express is for this weekend.

I know it doesn't run if the snowpack isn't deep enough for a snowmobile to travel through. Will this upcoming storm help that? Has it run yet this year?

I have the option of going Friday, Saturday or Sunday. If the SBX is running I will favour the weekend as I like to ski both sides while staying ON the mountain. I don't like riding a bus during the ski day.

Any information is appreciated,

Thank you.

I think its broken or something. A bunch of chairs were off it. Doesn't look like its gonna run for a while.

It has not run. The last storm gave us icing and that's why the chairs are off as I understand it.

As for this weekend, I don't know.

I always park and start at north then take the shuttle to ski over at south then back to north to finish the day skiing and maybe a beer relaxing on the back deck. Make believe your European, they use shuttles to get around all the time.

I know that we have disagreed on this before, but I think there is some legitimate concern with regards to running SBX, or in this case not running it, when SB is charging a premium for an "all mountain ticket" and advertises the resort using Ellen Stats. We've had many discussions on this....
