Skied Snowbird for two days after Alta and while there was no new snow that came down, both days were full of sunshine, packed powder, and hidden powder stashes within the trees. The first day we wanted to make our way over to the Gad lifts to ski the trees in that area which are great. We took the Peruvian lift up to Mineral Basin for one run then skied down Regulator Johnson making our way to the Gad lifts. I love Snowbird but it's interesting in the way that you could be skiing some mild terrain then all of the sudden a cliff drop comes out of nowhere. You really need to stay aware there. Anyway, after a number of runs in the Gad area my family skied back to the Lodge and I finished off the day skiing the back side of the Cirque traverse hitting both Barry Barry Steep and the Wilbere Bowl.
