Snowmaking improvements

Relatively minor to some other projects but at Bromley some nice snowmaking improvements this year. The tower gun is on the last flat section before the top of Twister. Special nozzle and boom design for narrow trails. It’s also a semi automatic “Klik” gun so no hoses to connect, auto drain. Just ”click” the gauge to the appropriate pre-set number based on wet bulb and on it goes. This is the 4th Klick gun on upper twister.

New pipe on Panic results in my guess of twice as many hydrants, including the one here which is in the second cross over area with Peril. Should be much bette coverage this year for a trail that never had proper snowmaking IMHO.

No pic as work in progress but it looks like several new towers going in on East Meadow to fill in the gaps between existing towers. Heard a rumor this is a joint Bromley/BOC project. Interesting to see what towers are used….

Liking the new air/water towers on East Meadow. I am sure the BOC folks running their races will appreciate the tighter gun spacing as it was a little sparse in places. Hopefully they'll put some guns at those new turrets that have some throw capabilities to get some good width of coverage there with all of the duals they run during the race season!

Ski Ward snowmaking to start October first. They have two of those year round any temp guns. May be first to open....if you count it.
