SRAM Force Front Derailleur

ONECOL.jpg

For all the big changes that have occurred with the redesign of SRAM Force components, the one place where things have barely changed is the front derailleur. The cage, the pivots, the adjusting screws, the clamp, and the weight remain the same. The only change is the finish. The derailleur is now finished in the new Zephyr Silver anodizing.
The outer cage plate of the Force front derailleur is precisely shaped to allow you to use all 10 cogs on your cassette while you're in the big chain ring with minimal chain rub. And when you're in the small chain ring the Force Double Tap shift lever will allow you one trim adjustment based on your chain angle, allowing you to use any cog in complete silence when you're in the small ring.
The Force derailleur can handle any chain ring differential up to 16 teeth. This means you'll use the same derailleur for a 53/39 crankset as you will a 50/36 or 50/34. No more need for a compact-specific front derailleur. The Force has full aluminum construction and titanium hardware. Available in braze-on, 31.8mm clamp, and 34.9mm clamp. The actual weight of the SRAM Force Front Derailleur: Braze-on is 88g. The 31.8mm clamp is 100g.
