Took advantage of the $17 ticket. Skied Attitash in the AM. Groomers skied well and never iced up or skied off through mid day. I was pleasantly surprised with the mountain. Lots of fun cruisers. Trees didn't appear skiable. A little busy but nothing out of the ordinary for a Sunday on a nice day and the prices.
Wildcat was a bit icy in the afternoon but still fun turning in continuous 2100 vert run after run. By 1PM the lift line was nonexistent. Unfortunately the view was obscured due to some blowing light snow and clouds hanging over the presis. For $17 and two nice mountains I won't complain. Good day overall

Wow; no lift lines for $17 tix by 1 pm! That was not true at Watervile until 3:30 pm; White Peaks was still around 15/20 minutes then and Sunnyside was down to 3 minutes.

That was because the party moved inside! Wildcat had a St Patricks day event hosted by Ride and Ski as well as Harpoon. Pat Foley was the artist and did a great job and was funny! Saying there were no lift lines on Wildcat Express at 1 is not 100% true. The line was certianly shorter compared to earlier in the day but it was more like 2 when it was ski on! Also, the winds were getting crazy by 2 at the summit so many probably opted for the fun inside - we ended skiing at 2:30.

Waterville always has a line on White Peak Express. I often stick to Valley Run HSQ and Sunnyside Triple to avoid the lines! Some of the best trails are on that side too!

Another note: I can imagine how many people flocked to Waterville when it was $17 being relatively close to MA. Wait until April 1st!
