CARRABASSETT VALLEY, Maine -- Sugarloaf and the Bud Light Concert Series will welcome the unique and funky sound of G. Love and Special Sauce to the King Pine Room on Jan. 26. The group will perform as part of Sugarloaf's year long concert series that brings nationally renowned acts to the mountain throughout the winter season.

The Wood Brothers, a blues, folk, and rock duo touring in support of G. Love and Special Sauce, will open the show.

Widely recognized for a unique, laid-back blues sound that encompasses the sound and production of classic R&B and rap artists, G. Love has found enormous success in the music industry since 1992. Garrett Dutton, a.k.a G. Love, and Special Sauce, Jimmie Prescott and Jeffrey Clemens, have collaborated with many of the biggest names in music, including Jack Johnson, Ben Harper, Donovan Frankenreiter, and Blackalicious.

Hailing from Philadelphia, G. Love and Special Sauce have released seven albums, including G. Love and Special Sauce, Philadelphonic, and their latest release Lemonade, released under Brushfire Records, Jack Johnson's label. In the 13 years since its first release, the group has sold over a million albums worldwide.

Collaborative siblings the Wood Brothers, Oliver and Christopher Wood, will bring their blues, folk, and rock blend to the stage as the opener. Long one-third of the Medeski, Martin, and Wood trio, Christopher Wood teamed with his brother in 2004. The duo began touring in spring of 2005, and recorded it's first studio album Ways Not to Lose in September of that year.

This will be a 21-plus show and proper identification is required at the door. Tickets are $38 for general admission, and are available now by calling1-800-THE-LOAF or at Guest Services.
