When you layer the RS 180 Long Sleeve Jersey over a wicking base, you're adding enough wind- and water-resistance for comfort on mild winter days. This protection comes from Sugoi's Firewall 180 fabric, which is a proprietary, lightweight polyester knit.
At the lining, a light inner-brushing not only creates the perfect conditions for moisture management, but it is also creates an incredibly soft interface between the jersey and the skin. Accordingly, this loft reduces irritation when your core temperature rises. This allows Firewall 180 to provide ideal thermo-regulation by maintaining dryness and retaining warmth. And to thwart external forces, Sugoi even applied a DWR treatment to help resist wind and water.
Another key feature of Sugoi's Firewall is its ability to stretch. This, in conjunction with Sugoi's Pro Fit cut, delivers an exceptional range of motion for all cycling positions. In other words, the jersey won't pinch or bunch while you move in and out drops. At the back of the jersey, three rear pockets provide ample storage, while reflective elements give motorist a heads up when light conditions are low. Rounding out the RS 180, Sugoi employed a full-length, semi-locking front zipper. This way, the zipper stays in place when you're adjusting it for on-the-fly ventilation.
