haven't been to a movie theater in 10 years.

Never really been big into movies. I bet I watch about 5 a year.

Going to Avengers tonight in IMAX. This will probably be the only one until the others come out on bluray. Home theater with 7.1 and 60"HD screen(soon to 80") in basement and cheap drink and eats.

The Avengers was really good. If you hadn't seen Thor, Captain America, and the two Iron Man movies, you would have missed a lot in the movie. Robert Downey Junior was great. Scarlett Johanssen as Black Widow wasn't all that believable but she certainly looked good.

Most of these will wait until they come out on Blu Ray as Christmas stocking stuffer movies.

Unlikely to watch any in the theater. Avengers, Dark Knight, MiB 3 and a couple others are intriguing but not enough to go to the theater.

saw Dark Shadows today. it was not as good as i'd hoped. best lines were in all the commercials/trailers.

however, saw the preview for Snow White and the Huntsman, and am very interested in seeing it now. it ain't no fairy tale.

My dad watchedd Batman. Said it reminded him of the Family Guy episode where Peter beats up the chicken.

If that's the one where the fight scene lasts most of the episode, then I'm not a big fan of that one...

The wife and I went to The Dark Knight yesterday for an 11:30 AM matinee showing. We both enjoyed it, prob could have been 20-25 mins shorter but overall very enjoyable.
Even if you find fault with the storyline or character development/acting you can't discount the top notch visuals and special effects in the series.
