Sunapee Mountain, NH

Date Hiked: 10/19

Trails(s) Hiked: Andrew Brook Trail, Solitude Trail

Total Distance: 6 miles

Difficulty: Moderate

Conditions: Cloudy, extremely wet "trail"

Special Required Equipment: None

This trail was rediculous - so many brook crossings, very greasy/muddy, and multiple parts where the trail is a brook/creek. Solitude Trail was in much better shape. Not a soul out hiking.

Have skied Sunapee. Have not hiked it. It's one of those places I've skied so much that I don't have a burning desire to hike it. That said, some nice views for the effort. Any work being done at the resort? There are quite a few hiking trails on the mtn and it is a popular place.

Ya, I'd say the nicest part of the hike is the White Ledges on the Solitude Trail - great views, etc. The views aren't as strong on the ski area part in my opinion.
