Since no one made a thread yet I figured I would get one started. As long as I don't get dragged to the beach Sunday I'm in.

Open for suggestions for ride location.

I should be down for this. My vote is for Case Mt. I am thinking a couple of hours of trail riding with a short dip into the stunt trail to play.

I'm likely in for this one!

I'm planning on a Nass Epic. 15+ miler.

I guess that means I need to bring more than the usual amount of post-ride brews.

I'm really not sure now if I can make it, after my rides today I noticed that my head tube bearings aren't too smooth, will drop it off at the shop tomorrow and see what they say.

Greg wants to ride Nass, who would have seen that coming

Sorry dude. If I want to get in a 4+ hour ride, I gotta stay close to home so I can maximize the day. Someday you'll have kids and understand. Have fun at Case.

Like I said I'm ready to ride 8am Scoville Road, see you there!

It's pouring like a mo-fo out here right now...

Yeah, looks like Burlington is getting hammered right now. :-? Another batch maybe later. I think I'm going to do Stone Road tomorrow, 7 am start. Thinking DK Bypass to FKC and then play around Stone East. Anyone interested is welcome to join me.

I'm out, bike is in the shop with bad headset bearings.

Are they getting you new bearings or a new head set?

One year is kind of a short time for headset bearings to go. If you need to get a new headset spend the extra coin and get a Chris King Headset. Those things have a 10 year warranty and you can just transfer it to any new bike you get in the future.

Don't forget that he has a lefty with the 1.5 head tube and lefty specific headset. Even if King made a headset for the lefty (I don't know if they do) it wouldn't be all that useful to him on future bikes unless he got another lefty.

I personally don't see the added benefit to going with a King headset, aside from bling.

They are covering it under warranty so my guess is bearings only.

Never made it out this morning. Got in 11 hours of much needed sleep. Gonna hit the beach with the kids today and then ride this evening.

The 10 year warrenty is worth the cost IMO. And how often do you see anyone write about problems with a King headset?

My current bottom bracket is 3 year old and will need to replaced soon. I hope it will last the season. But when it goes it will get replaced with a Chris King or something equal.
