Quick little bit on my ride yesterday... it was ridiculously hot, I rode like a dog, but still got the job done.

My route took me first on a quick trip down into CT, just to say I rode in CT, MA and NH in one day.

I headed north from there and 50 miles north I climbed up Wachusett, from the route 140/mile hill side. Tough climb in that heat, with 50 miles already in my legs.

After descending and filling my bottles at the visitor center, I headed north toward Winchendon. I rode through on route 12, then back to the Cumberland Farms in Winchendon for a snack, more water. Continued on south, through Rutland, Hubbardston, Holden, Worcester... stopped off in Auburn for more water and limped it home through Oxford.

133 miles, 8,000 ft elevation gain, eight bottles of water, 5 servings of Hammer Gel, package of mixed nuts, snack size can of Pringles, 2 pop tarts and several yogurt covered raisins. I was pooped. The heat really gets to me, I know I could've covered the distance faster and easier on a nicer day. Oh well, good training.

Here's the photographic evidence-
