Can anyone reccommend a decent B&B in Bethel or within 15-20 minutes of Sunday River? Where is the nightlife in Bethel if there is any, 2 couples in late 20's. Thanks!

We were there last month...stayed at the Snow Cap Inn on the mtn. We're 20 somethings as well and there really wasn't too much nightlife...it's a "ski all day, go out to eat, sit in the jacuzzi, and go to bed early" kind of place

That said, check out the Matterhorn, Phoenix, Comedy Night at White Cap, and the Sunday River Brewery.

Enjoy!

the nightlife is as good as one makes it. imo.

friday night, go to the brew pub from 9:00 to 11:30, then move to the phoenix until close. saturday night, apres ski anywhere, the hit up the matterhorn after dinner. a good band is usually playing and plenty of beer is flowin'.

i don't know much about b&b's, but there is the norseman inn (http://www.norsemaninn.com/dining.htm) or the rotsay. i think the rooster opened up as well, but again, i don't know much about any of them.

Hmm...

Not sure why you thought the nightlife wasn't all that great. You mentioned some of the better places. I was just there this past weekend and had a blast. The Matterhorn was a lot of fun. Phoenix is a very nice place to eat which turns into a nightclub later. That was a blast. Tango Mary's was also a lot of fun.

There are a lot of places to go and a lot of things to do.

If lots of choices was someone's preference, I'd recommend K-mart. Sunday River did have some good choices...no question about it.
