Happy New Year Skiers and Riders! - The last week of January my Son and I are joining a ski club bus trip to Sunday River, ME. As tickets are also good at Sugarloaf, we would love to hit that mountain on one of the days. Does anyone know of a Shuttle between the two resorts? Or would we be better off renting a car for the day? Thanks for any insight.

Sunday River / Sugarloaf

Better off staying at just one area. They are a good two hours apart. No shuttles. Likely no rental cars either in Sunday River.
Welcome to the boards. At last check there was no shuttle between the two. You would need to rent a car, but I don't know where the nearest rental place would be up there...likely Berlin (maybe?). It is about 2-2.5 hour drive in between the two if memory serves me right. I think that if you don't have a car that you're better off staying at one considering that there are no car rental places (I can think of) remotely close to either one.

With good weather and light traffic it usually takes me a little less than 2 hours.
