looked amazing this afternoon as I was driving south on I-93. I LOVE that corner you go around on the highway right after passing the second Littleton exit. BAM!!! White covered, brilliant, and huge. I love that view. Gets me every time.

Yeah, it looked like a beautiful day up there. I was thinking about hiking Washington today, but decided it was a bit cold. Probably a good idea since the summit topped out at a toasty 4F.

En route from Conway to Sugaloaf one dawn morning last year, I was plowing up 16, and this difficult to describe glow started poring out from the sky, as the sun started bouncing off the snow of the mountains. I've driven that road so many times, but this was an etch in the memory moment. Just perfect.

Yes, the whites are gorgeous right now! Didn't get the view yet that Steve saw from Littleton, NH but I can say that the Mount Washington Range from North Peak on Sunday and Monday was outstanding! Did I have my camera? No of course not!
