Shaping up to be a decent season, eh? The North Country is finally getting blessed with snow as are the mountain of New York. Southern New England received a much needed freshening up with Monday's snowfall. It's shaping up to be a pretty good final 1/3 of the ski season!

Yes indeed!!! Even at my beloved Tuckerman Ravine... Which makes me happy cause I'm going for a couple of days in 2 weeks...

http://www.tuckerman.org/avalanche/index.html
"The last two weeks have been leaving the Snow Rangers with feelings of joy and nostalgia. Remember when every winter was like this? In the last two weeks we've picked up about 145cm(57in) at our snowplots! These thoughts have made us almost forget about the three week drought we had just before. In the last two days we've recorded 31cm(12in) of new snow at both Harvard Cabin & Hermit Lake with densities hovering around 4%. "

I prefer to say the 2nd half of season, not the last 3rd. We have March April and Some of May if things go right. I know its my own math :D The crowds will start to thin and the snow is building up.

I was starting to get worried. We are heading up to Sugarbush/MRG for the week next week and it looks like our 3 year drought of fresh snow for vacation should end this year. Yee-ha!! :D

Final 1/3 of the season....????

....isn't everyone about to win tomorrow's $95 Million powerball lottery so they can spend all summer skiing in Chile with Eurotrash trustafarians with names like Stein, Sigi, Roberto, and Nathalie ?

I feel sorry for you guys....oh, and I've changed my name to Henri.....
