The Von Gruenigen Method

Has anyone heard of this. It was discussed during a video we were watching, by Harald Harb. He called it the Von Gruenigen Method, after GS World Cup champion Michael Von Gruenigen.

Von G. uses an "up un-weighting" technique instead of the "down un-weighting" technique that Eric Schlopy and Bode Miller use. The un-weighting comes during the transtion of one turn to the next. Ski width stays pretty much static all the time. Very cool sequesnce of photos. Hip almost touching the ground angulation. he is lifting and tipping his inside ski and bringing it in close to the stance ski. Von Gruenigen's skis are about as close together as they can get (relative to force vector) .

The Austrian's teaching methods are more plentiful than frogs in a marshy pond. The only sport which bests this would be Golf.
