In case any of you were wondering where I was the past ten days, I can tell you that I was doing the same thing. Often times questioning out loud "Where the hell am I?"

Anyway, I was off in various parts of China on business. Six cities in ten days... busy trip. While there I visited Beijing, Dalian, Wenzhou, Yuhuan, Nanjing, and Shanghai.

Pictures from the trip.

Here are some selections from the long and arduous journey for your thorough entertainment. I'm not even charging admission.

This time.

Some really old gold crap that they dug out of an emperor's tomb. Ming dynasty. From the Ming tombs.

Traditional ship carved entirely from a single piece of jade. Even the chains. Over five years worth of work in the one piece.

Not only is it impressive that they have a uniform wall covering over 5000 km worth of distance but 2000 km worth of it was built on the tops of moutains and ridgelines.

Tienen'man Square was massive. Fortunately there were no tanks there while I visited.

I guess this is how the let you know that this particular item was not free. I thought it was rather insulting.

The mark of a high class hotel. This was included in my toiletry provisions in the hotel in Yuhuan. I'm assuming this was part to do with the girl that would ask me everynight as I went back to my room,

"You want massaggee?"

"No, thanks."

"Oh, ok... Seckasis?"

"Ah... no. No thanks."

The wealthier Chinese drove mostly Audi's, with some BMW's here in there. The A6 L was particularly popular.

Window washers also getting to do a bit of rappelling. From my Beijing hotel room.

Anyway, great pics!

And somewhere in here there's a thread on getting rid of groundhogs...and your response(s) was anticipated.

Do they have American Food restaurants?

They do, unfortunately. They're called "McDonald's" and "KFC." I don't trust the food from those place in the States, so it goes without saying, I did not patronize these establishments in China.

TB, man. Good luck. If you ever have to go there, make sure it's either Shanghai or Hong Kong.

They're trying to plan a trip to China for my MBA program next spring. Running into roadblocks, though (I think they don't really know anyone in China), so we may end up iin Eastern Europe, which is okay, too, but I'd rather go to China.

"Uncomplimentary". That's pretty funny.

That's like being given the choice between have sex with Hillary Clinton or Barbara Streisand.

Hmmm, cankles of schnoz. Tought choice, there.

Really, though Europe would be Prague, Poland, and the like. Prague's supposed to be beautiful this time of year.

I'm pulling for China, though. I've been to Poland, and will probably be there a lot more, anyway.

Ah, well I wouldn't mind Prague, and being of Polish descent, I wouldn't mind Poland either.

Polish chicks are hot. The actress that played Lacey Underall was Polish.
