Thunder Ridge will be opening today at 3pm! The crew has worked hard overnight fighting the wind and cold to get six trails open: Lovers Lane, Sante Fe, Fawn Meadow, The Face, Little Thunder, and You Can Do It. I have posted some pics from last nights snowmaking on facebook: http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=128829&id=163357623675&ref=mf
We will continue to make snow and hope to expand terrain for this weekend!

Was there on Tuesday and things already looked good; Mary said that Friday looked like a go.

This cold ought to lock you guys in for awhile.

P.S. I wish you guys would consider seeding a bump line somewhere; it would expand the appeal of the place and really requires no capital input.

I agree with you, I will have that conversation with the upper management again. Jim next time your in stop by and say hello, if I'm not behind the desk on a computer I'm out on the hill somewhere.

That's fantastic! I got my start to skiing when it was called "Big Birch" (I think) 30 years ago. I recently moved to Central Westchester and look forward to rediscovering the mountain.
