Date(s) Hiked: 06-16-2007
Trails(s) Hiked: Livermore Rd & Tripryamid Loop
Total Distance: 11 miles 3,000 vertical feet
Difficulty: varys from easy to very difficult on the North Slide
Conditions: dry until the end, sunney & buggy
Special Required Equipment: sunscreen, bug spray or long pants & sleeves & for some of us it has to be below freezing to wear extra clothes
Trip Report: A few people went up South slide as the first sign is a bit confusing. Unsure which way they came down, Scuar of the North Slide. Personally, I have no interest descending the North Slide, the South is a fun descent though. Got a little rain on way out, not enough to keep the mosquitos away down low. Black flys only an issue higher up, mosquitos owned the lower elevations. A guy at the trailhead had a trickle charger for his car battery, more for winter trailhead parking, I think I'll have to pick one up!
