UN is reporting that there is a new dating site for Tele skiers....it is Tele-SkiersOnly.com

http://unofficialnetworks.com/2016/02/tele-skiersonly-com-the-new-dating-website-for-free-heelers-1

Instead, Tele-SkiersOnly.com will provide low-budget and romantic date options such picnicking in a favorite smoke-shack or sharing an IPA growler while watching the snow fall on the hood of a 1991 Subaru Legacy Wagon. Whatever the case, the website will connect tele-skiers and allow free-flowing compliments on each other’s dropped knees to grow into beautiful, hairy relationships.

So far, the project is currently in the preliminary development stages, which Williams describes as being hampered by library employees who, “refuse to restart the wireless router or upgrade their out of date desktop computers.”

I think I know who their first customer is going to be:

I fantasize about going tele. Looks easier on the knees. Requires more muscle, I assume? More load one one leg, it appears.

That's a small dating pool. I seem to remember Black Mtn, NH doing a speed dating event where you share a lift with the prospect instead of sitting across a table.

Not if you are doing it right. Good tele technique is 50/50. I have never alpined but assumed in fixed heel skiing you want to weight the downhill ski.?

Re: fantasizing... it is fantastic. Imaging being able to use all the joints in your legs. It's awesome. If you are worried about getting too much exercise that could be a problem. :)

aha, this is pure gold! As a long-time free-heeler myself, I can already smell the woodsmoke and wax just reading that description. There is definitely something uniquely romantic about a 1991 Subaru and a shared growler that high-end dating apps just can't replicate.

I think I know exactly who their first customer is going to be—probably that guy at the trailhead who spends more time adjusting his cable bindings than actually skiing! It's about time someone created a space for "beautiful, hairy relationships" centered around the dropped knee. Honestly, with how specific our subculture is, it’s great to see tools that actually understand the niche interests of a community. You can Click for more to see how modern interactive platforms are starting to cater to these hyper-specific lifestyles and passions to help people find genuine matches.

I’m just hoping the library wireless holds up long enough for the site to actually launch!
