Oh man, there are people at work who pop up a bag every afternoon and they like it slightly burnt so it stinks up the whole floor. :puke:

"We're incredibly interested in learning more about this case. However, we are confident that our product is safe for consumers' normal everyday use in the home," said Stephanie Childs, a spokeswoman for ConAgra Foods, the nation's largest maker of microwave popcorn.

Two bags a day probably does not constitute "normal."

Six months later, the man has lost 50 pounds

Amazing what diet modification can do for you.

Heh- I just noticed the Google ads at the bottom of the article. Predictably, both for popcorn.
Sometimes, automation doesn't work all that well.

I used to get candy from the bins at movie theaters until one day I looked closely in a bin at the local cineplex and saw maggots squirming around. Never. Ever. Again will eat that stuff. Just too horrible of a mental image.

Now I wonder if I'll be getting popcorn at the theater. Not that I think I'll get "popcorn lung", but all these chemicals freak me out. I'll probably at least hesitate before pumping a bunch of fake butter on top of my bag.

A guy in my office burnt a bag of popcorn and set off the fire alarm.. The fire dept came - we went to the bar next door..

I just threw up in my mouth..

Don't think I'm eating candy from the bin anymore....
