Icey conditions with slight flurries and a few spots of sun all day. Not sure if they got r&%n the night before but the cold temps and wind couldn't of helped the conditions. Started the day off on Obvlivion (which had opened the day before I believe) around 10 AM and it was a skating rink except for the crusty ungroomed stuff on the side which actually wasn't too bad. As we made our way around we were disspointed to find out everything was either ice or death cookies with some weird frozen cat/snowmobile tracks in certain places. In some of the steeper sections it was a little dangerous.
After lunch Oblivion softened a bit at the top before the hard left, at least enough to make it bearable so we lapped it the rest of the day. Eventually headed up to the skiiers left of the high country lift and was the softest snow we found all day (not saying much), softened moguls that you could at least turn on.
Luckly it was not too cold or crowded and tickets were 2/1 but without Oblivion softening it would of been totally miserable. They seem to have a pretty solid base, now they need snow on top of it, or at least a little warmth to soften the boilerplate.
