So tomorrow... Wife has given me the pass for the day... So where to go? I want to kinda avoid the crowds, so that is why I am listing the following hills:

Options:

1. Gunstock (Home Mountain costs nothing)

2. Ragged (Haven't been in a few years)

3. Berkshire East (Never been)

I am saving my trip out to Magic for later this season (I hope)...

I'm hitting up Black (NH). My vouchers are all blacked out, and I figure Black will get me the best combination of snow, value, and no crowds.

I'm hoping this r@1n isn't going to screw things up too bad. Maybe we'll get lucky and it'll stay close enough to freezing to snow at the higher elevations.

If you want woods, bumps, some obstacles, thin cover, and an old school feel then Berkshire East. One of the most underrated places in New England. They should get spared from most of this r@in. Ragged would be second.

isn't Black south-facing? Would think that would be nice with the sun and warmer temps...spring conditions early.

I am just going to my home mountain tomorrow. I expect one of two things. Either: 1. It's going to be a decent preview of spring skiing, or: 2. It's going to suck. If it's a nice day, I will enjoy being on the hill. If it sucks, I haven't lost anything!

Trying to decide if its worth it to drive up to Cannon in the morning……..not sure if it will get below freezing long enough to make it a rock overnight, sure the afternoon will be like spring though.
