It's funny when your doing some research on Google and a link pops up that's interesting. While Vermont has been slow in the public wind farm thing I guess more is being than we might think. This was 2002. You can see the spur between Benn and Brat for Vermonts only wind farm in Searsburg and the spurs up north for the Sutton project which is rounding third base as far as becoming reality, got my fingers crossed.

Unfortunately, investing in wind power (from a return perspective, at least) is a fool's errand. Fortunately, there are plenty of fools in the world. Building wind generation isn't economically feasible, but buying bankrupt wind farms certainly is. With only two companies making turbines and a 5-6 year backlog, on top of the difficulties siting the things, wind power is a tough row to hoe.
