Winter Returns Next Week

High temps next week are forecasted to strugle to freezing and low temps will be in the teens. Definitely in time for most openings, including http://www3.wachusett.com/pictureoftheday/ this place. Yes, that's what Wa looks like today, nice and white. Very white compared to Killington's closed trails.

Major snowstorm also in the forecast.

I live in northern Maryland, and last night my amatuer forecasting skills led me to call for our first snow on... Tuesday!

Okay, Weather.com doesn't agree with me, nor does Weather Underground or AccuWeather, and the guys at work just laughed, but I stand by my convictions!

it may be white, but that base definitely isn't skiable compared to K's trails i skied last week. great news about the weather, bring it on! just hope that the awesome november snow making temps are followed by decent dumps and no thaw period else it's all for naught.
