We are happy to announce that following the Fall Foliage Festival, a public season pass holder meeting will be held at 12:30 PM, Sunday, September 25th at the recently opened Burke Mountain Hotel and Conference Center. This event is being co-hosted by Burke Mountain, Leisure Hotels, and Friends of Burke Mountain, Inc. and we welcome everyone visiting the area and able to attend in person to do so.

The management company will explain, in detail, plans to improve snowmaking and the ski and boarding experience for the upcoming winter season. We all want Burke Mountain to succeed and would like to see an outpouring of support by former, current, and potential season pass holders. Before we officially recommend purchasing season passes and before the open meeting, a team from Friends of Burke Mountain, Inc., will conclude a series of meetings with Leisure’s snowmaking team to ensure that sufficient progress has been made on key system upgrades, repairs, and improvements. Our goal is transparency so that skiers and boarders may make informed decisions about whether to buy season passes. We look forward to seeing you all in just a few weeks!

Kind of odd that you want people to look to you for guidance on wheather you should get a season pass and support the resort, but don't followup with any feedback on a meeting you jointly held with the resort.

That was a surreal read. I can see why FoB has become very controversial. I appreciate the passing of information, but the official endorsement for the purchase of a season pass was just bizarre. That's a decision I'll make on my own, thank you very much. How many people attended the meeting?

The only thing I'm curios about, that isn't really answered, is... Can they now make snow on one lower mountain trail, and one upper mountain trail simultaneously? Such as blow a beginner/return to lower lodge trail/ and a trail off the top? AND... if so, is there enough leftover to run the fans on the mid-mountain crossover/Training Hill also at the same time?

If that is now possible, that would be great all around.
