What New Places Did You Ski This Year?

Niseko Japan and it was fabulous even with the long ride. But this being the worst snow in my 55 years of skiing that trip barely removed the disappointment of such a poor season.

Access the AlpineZone Forums from Facebook!

Ya that's a no-go for me too.I still have a FB account but I downloaded Taptalk for an other forum and the first thing they ask me to do was log into FB.I don't mind being referred to a second party from a forum to get an app but to have to sign in with an other entity is a bit much.

Only pics I have is of drunken pilots and FA's .....The two days I could see had good snow and I pretty much dropped everybody and skied myself. Not even a stop for lunch the selfish individual that i am.

    Niseko Japan March 4

Skid....It was a good time but I had a few bad days so anything is possible. Having traveled to Japan lots for work I must also say be open minded as Japan is different and bring your big wallet because its expensive too.

Japan: snowstorm kills 50, injures 600...

Well unless the winds aloft over the North Pacific change pretty quick I wouldn't hold my breath. for a weather change here. I have trip planned early march to ski in Japan and have been following the snowfall this year. This big snow has been the norm all season.

    Fat Skis, Hard Snow

My Mantras have been just great in about anything . Killington, Wa Wa , Mt Snow , Jackson Hole, Squaw, Alta . In deep deep snow I may have been better off last year with powder skis but last year was special out west as ever day was a powder day.
