I was there yesterday for my first time and it was amazing. Love the place already. Witch to Black line was probably my favorite run of the day, can't wait to head there on more powder days.:beer:

I echo what has been said in here...the upper mountain glades at Cannon are no joke if you are new to glade skiing/snowboarding. There is hardly room to turn in some spots, and sections get pretty steep. I unfortunatley followed a group of about 12 kids going through Global Warming saturday...

How was Mitersil? I wanted to venture over but based on what I saw on the upper mtn glades, and not knowing Mitersil too well I decided to stay away. 6" was still a blast, Cannonball held snow so well I lapped it all morning.

The more stories I read, the better I feel about not putting the bar down. Then again I was at Wachusett the other day and the lift stopped more suddendly than I have ever seen before and almost sent me and my buddies straight off. Another time I went on a work ski trip, the week leading up to...

I was there too...never though I'd say this but it was awesome last night. Short lift lines, barely any ice, and smooth throughout the whole night. The fog was bad but not terrible by any means. Trickiest part was distingusing where the grooming ended and the fresh snow (with rocks and water...

A few things came up and I didn't end up making it. How was it? I hope they're getting snow right now, looks like a nice coat of white on the webcam. Perhaps tonight would be a good bet...hmmmm.....:spread:

I was thinking about going to get the legs warmed up for some powder up north this weekend (hopefully!) but I'm not 100% sure yet.

Icey conditions with slight flurries and a few spots of sun all day. Not sure if they got r&%n the night before but the cold temps and wind couldn't of helped the conditions. Started the day off on Obvlivion (which had opened the day before I believe) around 10 AM and it was a skating rink...

On one hand, cool, and good for those that know what they are doing and posses some ability to ski the trees. On the other hand I can't wait to see how many people are pizza and french frying through those woods when the glades are open. Might be the most crowded glades of any ski area ever...

Interesting, I might have to try it out at some point this week lets hope the temps stay lower than the forecast is saying.:uzi:

Just saw this, cool list. Never been to most but I agree that Vietnam would probably make the list, and if you're around the area Foxboro is pretty fun and flowy in sections too.

Interesting. Seems the answer to my question is if the patroller thinks you're going too fast, you're unsafe, which wouldn't be bad if most of the patrollers weren't power tripping d-bags and knew what safe was. I do understand where they're coming from though.
