Looks like another rain event in the making for next week midweek. At this point i'm contemplating cancelling a trip to Stowe the weekend of 3/18. I fear conditions are only going to worsen at this point of the brutal season.

There's an app called "ski tracks" my buddy out in Breckinridge sent me a snapshot of it last week. Said it recorded him doing 73mph. Not sure how accurate that is but it looks like a cool app.

I was there Sat night conditions were excellent, no wind, 27 degrees couldn't ask for a better night until BOOM power outage. They ended up having to shut down the entire mountain by 8pm. Many angry patrons, they had to call in the cops for crown control. Not sure if it's true or not but rumor...
