I figured with temps in 50's for foreseeable future I better get over to the Goo or risk missing skiing at "home". Deep cover still on open trails, manky snow caused by 50's and sunshine. Shaded areas ski'd awesome sunny spots were s l o w. Stayed 2 1/2 got my fill and out. $25 early week...

Quick hitter today at wa, first civilians on summit lift, had Conifer and 10th to ourselves pretty much for 1 1/2 hours. Perfect packed man made. Smith was set up for WMRT so we skipped it. Over to Hitchcock and Challenger where we did encounter a bit of scratch. No Ralph's or bunny hill sorry...

Ski'd today at wa with KevinF (good to meet you Kevin!!) and Skimangojazz.... Ski on with no lines at both lifts most of the morning. I went up 1st about 0800 Kevin and SMJ went up about 0745 or so I would say.....I got there a little late, prob about 0740 and still parked in row 1. The skiing...

Looks like my little ski area friend a mile away is going to get a very rare blasting of snow..... Nice! Max has been blowing a nice base of snow on Yellow Jacket and Ledges all week....if it is ever epic at the goo tomorrow will be the day! Might have to dust off the Explosivs!!!:snow:
