Bretton Woods March 31 and Cannon April 1 2018

Things were really busy at BW on Saturday because they have $30 lift tickets for the rest of the season. But the lift lines were mysteriously short, the snow was soft, and the sun was shining. The tree skiing that's still open has spotty coverage, but they were running the T-bar and I rode that...

    Bretton Woods 11/29

This was the best day-after-Thanksgiving skiing in years at Bretton. There were three lifts open (not including the beginner area) and the conditions were remarkably good given the rain on Wednesday. It got pretty icy by the end of the day but we haven't had more than two ways down at this time...

Can anyone use a voucher to Burke?

I have a lift ticket voucher for Burke Mountain, I understand this coming weekend is their last weekend. We bought it at the Boston expo for $33, I'll give it to anyone who can use it before they close. Send me a PM and I'll pop it in the mail, or if you're near RI, you can come and get it.

Skiing around northern NH and VT, 3/19-23

We're in NH for the week, and conditions are fantastic everywhere. We skied Burke Saturday the 19th, things were quite firm in the morning but edgeable, then the sun warmed things up, the snow got soft, it was phenomenal. Everything is open, but the stuff in the trees never really softened up...

    Stowe 1/12/11

We heard a prediction of 3-7 inches today, but it was dumping and still is. I think they'd gotten at least 6 inches when we left the mountain at around 1:00, but it's hard to tell with the blowing snow (it's very windy.) Unlike the powder that fell Sunday night into Monday, this doesn't seem to...

    Bretton Woods, 12/11 and 12/12/10

Skied yesterday and today at Bretton. Things were in pretty good shape yesterday even though we didn't start until noon. The trails with only natural snow and no grooming were a bit cruddy and had quite a few grassy spots, some sticks, etc., but everything they had open and groomed was skiing...

    Stowe 1/5-1/7 2010

Conditions are pretty good at Stowe, but on Wednesday the 6th, the gondola, the quad, and the Sensation quad were all not working, and then today, Thursday morning, again neither the gondola nor the quad were working. They got the gondi open around midday, and also the Sensation quad over on...

    Bretton Woods 1/1-1/2

Bretton was in pretty good shape on 1/1 and 1/2, it was snowing all day both days, very lightly, and I won't say anything else except I'm staying down the road in Bethlehem and I'm not skiing today because no one was getting out of here until the plow guy came to get us out. I'd say we got two...

Two free tickets to Mt. Sunapee, anyone?

I have two tickets to Mt. Sunapee, which it turns out is closing after tomorrow. Can anyone use them, and get them from me in Exeter, RI? I'd hate to see them go to waste.

What will open at Cannon this weekend?

Anyone have any idea what trails will likely be open at Cannon this weekend? Is it worth going, do you think? Thanks for any info.

    Free ticket to Okemo

Can anyone use a free lift ticket to Okemo that must be used by Jan. 31, midweek? I also have two half-price vouchers with the same restriction. Send me a p.m. if interested -- I won't be checking messages until later today, but I could pop these in the mail Monday or if you're in or near RI...
