Hi all,
I'm looking ahead, shopping for a cargo carrier box for the roof of my new Jeep.
The two specific models I'm looking at are the Thule Cascade XT 1100 and the Yakima Space Booster 11.
They are both a similar size, very narrow and fairly long...
The Thule seems to have a nicer finish than the Yakima, although it is a little taller and twice as expensive.
Does anyone have any first-hand knowledge of either of these boxes? I haven't seen them in person yet but am kind of leaning towards the Thule as it looks a bit sleeker.
I'm curious to know what kind of MPG hit I'm going to take when I have one of these bad boys clamped to my roof rack. I get 18mpg average now. Anyone know if one of these boxes would be better than the other for mileage?
Thanks in advance for any help,
-Derrick
