Spam, ma'am

I enjoy the low volume of spam posts on the site but I have to ask... the small (miniscule really) amount that do get through and post every once in a while in Misc. Disc... are those actual manual posts? Because you do have the graphics verification when you register a new account... I looked this morning.

Apparently they are. I enabled visual confirmation upon registering some time ago, before it was a default feature of phpBB.

Thanks. There was an instance a while back where a bunch of Russian spammers would use bots to automatically create new accounts on phpBB boards with porn URLs in the www link. Obviously enabling the visual confirmation alleviated that problem.
