The last time Dan Egan went to Texas, it snowed. Winter follows Dan Egan.
On powder days, Dan skis narrow. On boiler plate, Dan skis wide rockers. Skiing any other way would be too easy.
Each time Dan was in a Warren Miller movie, they considered titling it "Dan Egan skiing....featuring camera work by Warren Miller..."
When Dan Egan looks up the mountain, they name a trail after him.
Dan Egan is allowed to ride chairs and gondola's alone. Too much greatness can exceed the uphill capacity of the lift.
Dan Egan one time groomed Vail (all the trails) with just a few garden rakes. He did it in 6 hours and only stopped once for half a cup of decaf coffee.
When Dan Egan races in a dual slalom, he gives the other racer a 5 second headstart, clicks off one ski and skis backwards.
