Having been a subscriber for many years they sent me the survey to fill out which I did. They asked for areas visited over the last 2 seasons. They give you six slots and I ski alot more then that so I decided to review 3 down here in Poconos and 3 in Vermont. The questions and catagories range from snow to weather to night life, lodging etc. I don't put alot of stock in these surveys but it was fun to fill out and maybe some of the info gets back to the ski areas. Reviewed Camelback, Blue and Elk for the Pocono's because over the last 2 years thats what I've skied the most. For Vermont, Killington and Bolton Valley. One thing that disappointed me was that Magic was not listed in their area listings, but they did have a write in option and I got it in that way. My son reviewed it and says I a pretty tough grader as no one got a 10, very few 8's or 9's and no one got an overall score better then 7. There were several catagories that just didn't apply to me so I gave them 5's. (You can't do anything about the weather so why rank it especially here in the Northeast). I had a good time filling it out and will be interested to see the results in October.

According to SKI, Magic and Burke apparently don't exist. Burke wasn't listed the last time I saw the survey; is it now?

Yeah, that would not be good. They need to list all areas instead of just those that advertise. Is there a link to the survey or is it for subscribers only?

Burke is listed as well as Mad River Glen in VT. The list is in no way linited to areas that advertise. This year's ranking categories are expanded to include "Character" and "Digital Presence".
