Our ski day started out at Bear Peak with a heavy snow falling when we got on the Flying Bear HSQ at 9:15am and about 3" of new snow had fallen making for some nice powder turns on Wandering skis. Warren enjoyed the powder snow and made really nice turns. We skied down Morning Star to Cub's Cut and Lower Kachina with nice powder conditions. We both continued on to Attitash and took a run Down Saco to Northwest Passage and back to Bear Peak for one more run down Avenger.
By the time that we stopped skiing at 11:00am the snow had turned to a sleet/rain mix, so we packed up and started home. The ride home over Kancamagus pass was a white knuckle affair with unplowed roads and freezing rain, we barely made it to I-93. From there on it was raining heavily all the way home.
