Planning on kicking off the season at Belleayre 27-Nov. With kids in tow, $25 lift tickets is pretty awesome.

So it doesn't look like I'll be at Belleayre this Monday like I hoped but now I'm shooting for the Monday or Tuesday before Thanksgiving to start my season.

I don't believe that Hunter would drop a date down... They don't do that normally...

They will open when they get 2 days of cold weather...

The Nov mild weather had some pretty good trout fishing so it kept the jones at bay. The fishing is tankng fast and the snow jones is getting bad now. As pocono skiing now probably won't get going until the 12th or even the 19th :blink: I think I may get the 3x card at huntah and also see what similar deal belleayre got to hold me over until blue or CB opens.....

After lots of time and speculation, we've set a tentative opening date of December 5, 2009! The guns & crew are reading for snowmaking, which could begin as early as this weekend.

The longer range weather forecast indicates significant changes starting around the middle of next week. There is a possible snow/rain event in the middle of the week which will open the door for Arctic air to enter the region. Keep your fingers crossed and THINK SNOW!!
