While the thoughts of mtns opening days are still in the future --

I think the first ski/ride trip report of the year will go to a hiker or someone with a snowmaker in their backyard..... but maybe man-made will beat mother natures first dump and it will be a race to get to the first in the east to open and a live-post from the hill----

Suggest a name, or self nominate, and we'll get an AZ poll going?

and the winner gets.....? to ski/ride of course!

Yeah gotta be limited to EC.

... trying to think of something fun we could do. How about this: free hooded AZ sweatshirt for the first to post a trip report, awarded at this season's AZ Summit :)

Ok, in that case, I won't wait till the frost, and just ski down my backyard hill this afternoon!

hey they are rock skis after all. Hopefully you ahve a little moss to dampen the chatter:lol:

If not a quick few minutes with the sprinkler on should decrease the coefficient of friction enough to get some sliding in! :)

Not to be a hater, but technically GP didn't post a ski report (nothing in the Trip Reports sub-forum). It was actually skiersleft just posting a link to LHz' Twitter feed and then GP chimed in with a link to the FIS blog. IMHO this equates to someone linking to a report on TGR and claiming the prize.
Technicallities :p :argue:
