Date(s) Skied: 2/3 & 2/4
Resort or Ski Area: Gunstock
Conditions: Hard-packed, Groomed....no man-made snow for days (and obviously no natural snow!)
Trip Report: 2/3 - Panorama lift opened about 15-20 minutes late. Trails had bee groomed so the skiing for the first couple hours was pretty good. The snow was really hard packed but surprisingly not that icy. All things considered, for basically 100% man made snow it was pretty damn good. Was skiing with 1 other person and we rode the quad all day alone.
2/4- Very hard packed groomed trails - only a couple hours in got pretty scratchy and icy. Some trails worse than others...most of the blacks were better. Was pretty busy but they moved the lines well.
Hopefully they start cranking the guns again soon.
