Resort or Ski Area: Loon Mountain
Conditions: Fast. Edgeable.
Trip Report:
Saw the contrast of Burke the day before, wow. Loon is pretty much 95% open.... cold again, kept the crowds light... I was amazed at how well each trail was covered and had a blast on all my favorites.. On ski's again, so mainly stuck to Blues. Rampasture, Picked Rock, and Walking Boss were my pics of the day... Enjoyed blue ox, seven bro's and speakeasy too....
Good day at Loon, had a blast with some friends and managed to avoid the loon crowd-- First weekend of the year that I ski'd both days and left the board in the car..
Didn't make it over to South Peak, but they had everything short of glades open....
